Access Health explores the latest developments in medicine, from common to rare diseases. The Alnylam-sponsored episode features John, a father, former Department of Defense firefighter and motivational speaker, who was diagnosed with the polyneuropathy of hATTR amyloidosis and is being treated with AMVUTTRA(R) (vutrisiran). The episode also includes insights from Dr. Robert Gottlieb, an expert in hATTR amyloidosis, who discusses the genetic nature of this rare disease, common symptoms and diagnostic approaches.
