AL Amyloidosis Week: A Patient’s Experience

This edition features the experience of AL amyloidosis patient Linda Woolfe. Linda has been diagnosed with AL amyloidosis for 5 years and faced a long wait until she got the right diagnosis; something to which I'm sure many patients can relate, unfortunately. Something else to which many patients will relate is a lack of appetite. Around this time of year many of us like to indulge a bit more, but some of you may be struggling to eat and maintain your nutritional intake. We've included plenty of practical tips on pages 8 and 9 to help you maintain a healthy weight. We also touch on what a healthy diet should look like for when January rolls around and healthy eating often comes into focus.
