Suzanne R. Hayman, MD

She did her MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1991 followed by residency in internal medicine from Barnes Hospital, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. In 2002, she obtained fellowship in Hematology/Oncology from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She also completed Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from the Department of Medical Genetics and Genomic Biology, Hospital for Sick Children Research Institute.

Dr. Hayman's primary interests are into multiple myeloma, amyloidosis and lymphoproliferative disorders. Dr. Hayman has a research focus on treatment of patients with dysproteinemia. She performs clinical trials in NCCTG, ECOG, Myeloma SPORE and Mayo in the area of multiple myeloma and amyloidosis. She has a special research focus in Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia. She is a member of the Mayo Clinic Stem Cell Transplant Group.
