Rupali S. Avasare, MD

Dr. Avasare is Director of Glomerular Disease Program and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Avasare is a graduate (BS) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge Massachusetts. She received her medical training in New York City. She completed nephrology fellowship at Columbia University and completed additional specialized training in glomerular diseases at Columbia University.

Her clinical interest is in treating patients with protein in their urine. Specifically, she specializes in treating glomerular diseases due to lupus, hepatitis C, IgA nephropathy, ANCA vasculitis, amyloidosis, multiple myeloma, membranous nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, minimal change disease, and membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis.
